Traditional medicinal plants continue to play a vital role
in healthcare and pharmaceutical innovation. During this insightful
presentation, Dr. Roman Lysiuk will discuss the latest scientific developments
in flavonoid research, including advanced extraction technologies, analytical
identification, pharmacopoeial standardization, and antioxidant activity
assessment.
The session will also explore how modern analytical
techniques such as HPLC, LC-MS, FTIR, NMR, UV-Vis, and TLC are
transforming quality evaluation of herbal medicines while supporting
evidence-based traditional medicine. Attendees will gain valuable insights into

About the Speaker
Dr. Roman Lysiuk is a renowned researcher in pharmacognosy,
phytochemistry, and herbal pharmacology. He serves at Danylo Halytsky Lviv
National Medical University, Ukraine, and is also the Director of the
Council for Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (CONEM), Norway. With
more than 200 scientific publications, editorial leadership across
international journals, and extensive international collaborations, he
continues to contribute significantly to natural products and phytomedicine
research.
