About the Speaker

Dr. Charles Shang is a Clinical Professor and Internal Medicine Physician specializing in Integrative Medicine. He earned his Master's degree from Harvard University and his MD from Boston University. He has served on the faculties of Harvard Medical School and Baylor College of Medicine and developed one of the first biological models explaining acupuncture with interdisciplinary predictions that have been supported by subsequent research. His pioneering work earned the Medical Acupuncture Research Foundation Award.
